Support and feedback

Useful reports without giving away the book.

DraftAtlas support is built around structured, privacy-aware reports. The goal is to make every beta report actionable while keeping the author's private creative material under their control.

Report a problem

  1. Open Support & Feedback inside DraftAtlas.
  2. Choose the report type: bug, crash, performance, export, AI, backup, licensing, or feature request.
  3. Describe what happened and what you expected.
  4. Review the privacy preview before sending anything.
  5. Email the report to support@draftatlas.app or save the report file for later.

If a project will not open

Do not delete the project folder. Do not uninstall DraftAtlas until you have copied or backed up the project folder. If the app opens, use Project Health to create a backup or restore point before trying repairs.

Send the app version, the current screen, the last action before failure, and a redacted support bundle if available.

Diagnostics are redacted by default

Support reports can include version, platform, project statistics, selected health summaries, recent background jobs, and redacted logs. These help identify failures without sending the work itself.

Never included by default

  • Manuscript text by default
  • Entity bodies or private notes by default
  • Images or document assets by default
  • AI prompts, API keys, or license keys by default
  • Full local project folders by default

When screenshots help

Screenshots can be useful for layout bugs, export issues, and confusing workflows. Review screenshots before sending because they may reveal manuscript text or project details.
